need help ! I tried to upgrade IBM p520 system fw from 01sf222_075 to 01sf235_180. I booted from t side and unpacked the rpm file and ran the command. system was bz for a while, then shutdown op panel shows ok . I waited 30 minutes...no auto restart. So I pressed the power button. system rebooted from p side. lsmcode shows permanent fw level is 01sf222_075

             temporary fw level is $^00000

system is booted fromm p side

My question is this:

HOW CAN I REMOVE THE FAILES FW FROM TEMP SIDE AND COPY THE GOOD OLD FW THAT IS ON PERM SIDE TO THE TEMP?

Hi, if you have operating system installed it can be done by update_flash command.

update_flash -r | -r Reject temporary image.
